Working alone in my studio, I cut, nip and grind plates, tiles, marbles and glass. I assemble these pieces, called tesserae, into the picture I am trying to create. The work itself is somewhat meditative. I am inspired and challenged by the works of other artists and often humbled by a child’s project.

My mosaic work and the collectibles are designed for those wishing to make a statement in their home furnishings. Most of the items are hand crafted and simply one of a kind.

Though I love to make southwest themed pieces, I am not limited to this genre. Please feel free to send me an email, if you'd like to discuss your special piece.
